"The Tiananmen Massacre" documents the rise and fall of the 1989 Student Democracy Movement and details how a few men controlling the government of China declared war against the Chinese people, and used tanks and machine guns to murder and maim thousands of innocent men and women whose only crime was a hunger for freedom and democracy.
China today is much like Nazi Germany in the 1930s; a police state which brainwashes the people with lies and propaganda, and systematically violates civil and human rights. The government of China is the avowed enemy of freedom and democracy. Much of the world envied Nazi Germany's economic growth, and western capitalists and corporations climbed into bed with the dictators of Germany. Today, China's staggering growth is the envy of the world and western capitalists including Google, Yahoo, Cisco, Microsoft, AOL-Time Warner, and Murdock of News Corp, clamor for a piece of China's economic pie. But at what price?
The dictators of China are the avowed enemies of freedom, democracy and human rights. However, the Chinese people are the #1 victims of this repression
Over 80,000 riots and demonstrations against the government took place in China in 2007
The Chinese government commonly takes the homes, farms, and land of the poor and gives their property to the rich. Pollution and corruption are rampant in China, and if the people complain, they are arrested or brutalized.
A corrupt China ruled by ruthless dictators may someday become the most dangerous country on Earth.
However, a free and democratic China could become the greatest nation on Earth.
The Chinese people, and all of humanity would be best served by a free, democratic China.
