We are in the process of raising production funds for our science-fiction disaster epic: "2012... and the Earth Was No More;" a major motion picture which is currently in development.
A and B List actors will star. To protect the interests of all concerned, contractual negotiations with the major studios will be handled by a famous entertainment lawyer whose name strikes fear in the heart of studio executives.
The background theme of this feature film builds upon predictions, based on the Mayan/Aztec Calendars, that the Earth will be destroyed on 12/21/2012. Therefore, our film will feature incredible special effects depicting horrific disaster scenarios, involving meteors, earthquakes, tornadoes, volcanoes, tsunamis, and pole-shifts with San Francisco and most of California sinking beneath the sea.
We anticipate this film has the potential to earn $500 Million Domestically and 1 Billion with overseas and other revenues streams (DVD, TV, pay-per-view).
We have also created several short documentaries on 2012, which can be viewed below.
"2012... and the Earth Was No More" will not be a remake of "Armageddon" or "Deep Impact" nor will it be a post-apocalyptic survival adventure, like "The Day After." Scientists or astronauts do not save the world, nor do survivors cope with surviving on a wrecked planet. Rather, the Earth is completely destroyed ("no more"). And yet, the film has a happy ending.
The plot and story-line of "2012... and the Earth Was No More" is 100% unique, and tells a dramatic, thought-provoking, action-packed, otherworldly story that has never before been explored in a major motion picture.
As 2012 approaches, there will be increasing hype and publicity generated by all the world's media. Any major film dealing with this subject matter will be provided incredible free publicity. We intend to capitalize on it, and make a great, thought provoking movie which will make a lot of money.
In anticipation of creating "2012... and the Earth Was No More" we have experimented with sound, music, and imagery to create a number of short films which have been viewed/downloaded (on youtube, video/google) by over 11 million viewers (over 5 Million on youtube, over 6 million on video.google)--we have more viewers than PBS, or the Discovery of History Channel, 85% of which are male between the ages of 18 and 45--the primary target audience of most major film-makers.
Even though most of these short films were experimental, they have been rated (on average) "4.5" stars out of 5, and those which are meant to be frightening, are typically described as extremely frightening to the point some viewers can't sleep at night (We have the stats to verify this).
Our last full length film, "The Rape of Nanking" had an estimated viewing audience of 16 million, and was typically described as quite "frightening" (over 30,000 comments have been posted online, in the US, about this specific movie).
The humans of our planet typically seek out frightening entertainment, and to create a truly frightening film is very difficult. We have succeeded and have the stats to prove it. "2012... and the Earth Was No More" will be thought provoking, filled with action and eye-popping special effects, and extremely frightening.
Thus, we believe our film "2012... and the Earth Was No More" has the potential to earn a significant profit immediately upon release.
INVESTORS:
We are seeking to raise $10 million dollars from investors.
1) Initially, we are asking investors only for certified letters of intent to invest specific sums (a minimum of $100,000.00). However, initially there will be no contractual obligation to provide these funds or for the producers to accept these funds.
2) Those who actually invest and provide production funds will receive "points" based on the "gross" income earned by the film.
3) With certified letters of intent in-hand, we will commence signing contracts for actors and all production services.
4) With signed contracts in hand, we will begin accepting funds and will begin production.
5) We expect to complete items 1-4 by early 2009, and begin production in the following 90-120 days.
6) We would like to release the film in December of 2009 or the summer of 2010.
Serious investors willing to consider a minimal $100,000 investment, and who would like additional details including reviewing the 30 page treatment (registered with the Writer's Guild) or a sample of the proposed special effects, please contact Dr. Rhawn Joseph, by email at:
